NEW!! Bonnie Pinkwater #4 Math teacher extraordinaire and inveterate busybody, Bonnie Pinkwater is at it again. When she and her Wiccan sidekick Rhiannon Griffith are out hiking and find the body of Bonnie‘s boss, Vice Principal Clarence Murphy, their day takes a decided turn for the worse. But when that same body disappears then reappears seated at his desk, amid the wreckage in a tornado-ravaged high school, Bonnie proclaims things downright weird and decides to nose around. What show up are killer motorcyclists, suspicious preachers, tyrannical dwarves, high-stakes poker games, land-grabbing CEOs, and a damaged math genius desperately needing her help. Bonnie Pinkwater #3 Leo Quinn is dead. Five years before his murder--tied to a barbed wire fence and shot through the heart on a back stretch of East Plains, Colorado dirt road, Leo came out of the closet in a speech at his own high school graduation. Full time math teacher and part time troublemaker Bonnie Pinkwater is drawn into the investigation when her phone number is found in Leo’s pocket. Busybody that she is, she--and her principal Lloyd Whittaker--start turning over rocks. Unfortunately everywhere she looks people end up dead. First a rodeo clown who manages to get himself shot in a County Fair Port-A-Potty. Then at Leo’s funeral the youth pastor, who just so happens to be Leo’s former lover, is the victim of a sniper.
Bonnie and Lloyd’s investigation lead them to the target range of Leo’s father, survivalist and former Marine Alf Rattlesnake Quinn, who has every reason to want revenge. Next on the list is Leo’s former fiance, Seneca Webb, who now races quarter-horses. Also in the mix is Harold T. Dobbs, the intolerant, bull-horn wielding, homosexual baiting pastor of the Saved by the Blood Pentecostal Tabernacle. And don’t forget Moses Witherspoon and Dwight Furby, empty-headed bigots who, it just so happens, were out joyriding on a certain section of dirt road on a certain Saturday night.
Complicating Bonnie’s investigation is Superintendent of Schools Xavier Divine--The Divine Pain in the Ass to those who know and love him--who has made it his life’s ambition to keep one aging math teacher out of the murder business.

Bonnie Pinkwater #1 Bonnie Pinkwater is a teacher and a good one. She cares about her students. So when Peyton Newlin, a thirteen-year old math genius, disappears, Bonnie decides to nose around.
One by one, students who were competing with the young genius start turning up dead and Bonnie suspects Peyton may be narrowing the field. Then Peyton himself is murdered. Bonnie's investigation ratchets up.
What she discovers is a coven of witches, a teenage comic book magnate, a skinhead neanderthal with violent propensities, an abusive father, an amorous science teacher, and a mistranslated medieval mathematics manuscript. Somehow, all the pieces have intersected in the tragically brief life of her math protege.
As the body count mounts, Bonnie realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew. Because whoever is eliminating her beloved students has now decided East Plains, Colorado would be better off without one aging math teacher.

Bonnie Pinkwater #2 Bonnie Pinkwater, a veteran teacher with a knack for finding trouble, is at it again.
This time sadistic wrestling coach Luther Devereaux is found murdered, and her mentally challenged aide, Matt, is found with blood on his hands. She enlists the help of Greg Hansen, student council president, to pursue her investigation and exonerate Matt … and then Greg's marijuana-dealing brother and father are killed as well. And it looks like Matt's dwarfish brother Simon is the culprit. That is, until Simon is shot and killed by an amorous millionaire rancher pursuing Bonnie. Can it get any worse?
Oh yes. The rancher's son is now the prime suspect. And Superintendent Xavier Divine, AKA The Divine Pain in the Ass, demands Bonnie cease her investigation or lose her job.
Maybe Bonnie should have listened to him. Because things are about to get a whole lot worse. The murderer has now kidnapped Bonnie’s beloved dog, and unless she wants to see him alive again, well …
