Robert Spiller is a displaced Pennsylvanian living the good life in Colorado
Springs, Colorado with his wife Barbara. Within shouting distance
are his three daughters and three grandchildren. His first published
mystery novel, The Witch of Agnesi, combines four of his
passions: teaching, mathematics, math history, and writing. The Witch
of Agnesi is a mathematical curve and in the novel, Bonnie Pinkwater, his
teacher sleuth, uses mathematics and math history to solve a series of
murders.
He is currently at work on A Calculated Demise: The Hypatia Murders,
and Irrational Numbers. Robert himself has taught math
from elementary to college for the past twenty-nine years. Last August,
he realized a long time dream when he ran the Pikes
Peak Ascent - a thirteen mile half marathon to the top of America's
mountain. You can contact him at rspiller2004@yahoo.com
